Chicago Art for Black Futures is a platform that raises funds for black-led organizations through the sale of prints, drawings, lightweight sculptural works and editioned media. We focus on artworks and artists that uniquely challenge systems of oppression, offer a visuality which poses a reorientation of our current state, or share language of care and healing.

Please consider donating to Assata’s Daughters through our donations tab and spend time with artworks through our archives tab.

Chicago Art for Black Futures is devised by Stephanie Koch, Maggie Wong, Alden Burke, Curtis Miller and Chris Reeves. Design is by Ally Fouts. Special thanks to Kacie Smith and Libia Bianibi at Art Alliance Illinois, and Jazz Williams for their film work.

Process of Sale

100% of the proceeds from art sales will be directed to Jade Williams who, after taxes and service fees, will dispersed to organizations seeking justice for black lives.

By purchasing a bloom kit, you reserve the kit and it is final sale. BLACK BLOOM PROJECT will process orders the week following the sale and ship all orders the week of October 26th. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and included in the final sale.

Chicago Art for Black Futures continues to develop its relationship to Assata’s Daughters. If it is within your means, we strongly encourage you to donate more directly to AD. Visit Assata’s Daughters donation portal on their website or through the donate tab above.
